Seat Saver Grab Bar

This is a new grab bar designed and built by Trail Buddy Inc. in the USA. The grab bar is made from 1/2in round steel with laser cut mounting brackets and powder coated black. The bar mounts behind the shocks and over the battery box mounts. It hides under the seat and keeps people from picking up your bike by the seat pan.

This is designed to fit a stock CT70 with a stock seat, you will need to bend your latch lever in just a little bit to clear the grab bar, bend it in to the bike frame a 1/4in or so.

The bar fits snug under the seat pan, some older seat pan sides are bent in from years of riding, this must be corrected for good fitment.

1.      loosen the shocks, remove any washers behind the shocks. The grab bar mounts will replace the washers.

2.      Remove the bolts from the battery box mounts, we supply longer bolts.

3.      Slide the U brackets behind the shocks on both sides of the bike, rotate the grab bar to line up with the holes in the frame for the battery box mount.

4.      Install the longer bolts in the grab bat over the battery mount and tighten, the rear of the bare will be tight on the tail light bracket

5.      Tighten the shock nuts, your grab bar is now installed
