Handlebar Assembly for CT70 & Clones
Looking to modernize your CT70 or clone with improved
comfort, control, and style? This Handlebar Assembly Kit by Trailbuddy
is designed for builders, restorers, and customizers who want a clean setup
that’s ready to ride—with the right components for plug-and-play installation
when paired with our TB160 12V wire harness.
Best Applications:
- Ideal
for upgrading a stock CT70 frame using Trailbuddy’s TB160 12V
harness (sold separately)
- Compatible
with most 125cc CT70 clones, though wiring modifications may be
required when used with factory clone harnesses
- Not
a direct replacement for OEM CT70 controllers – This kit’s controllers
are made to plug directly into the TB160 harness. If using a different
harness, custom wiring will be necessary.

Taller and Wider Fold-Down Handlebars
Wider stance and increased height for a more comfortable riding position.
Fold-down design maintains the classic CT70 portability.

Controller
Includes your choice of attached lever:

- Right
Controller – Choose from:
- Hydraulic Front Brake (No Lever) – For bikes using a hydraulic front brake caliper and master cylinder. Since the brake lever is mounted separately with the hydraulic master cylinder, this controller is supplied without a brake lever.
- Front Brake Lever (Drum Brake) – Designed for cable-operated front drum brakes. This option is temporarily unavailable. We are actively working on bringing it back into stock.
- Throttle
Cable
Custom-fit to this specific right controller. No substitution, this is
the only throttle cable that will work with this controller.
- Grips
Classic black rubber grips for a clean, finished look.
Important Notes Before You Buy:
- Mirror
Mount Compatibility
The right controller includes an 8mm mirror mount thread. If you're
using 10mm mirrors, you'll need a thread adapter (sold separately –
link provided).
- Wiring
Compatibility
This handlebar assembly is designed to be a plug-and-play fit with
Trailbuddy’s TB160 12V wire harness. It is not compatible with OEM
CT70 or most clone harnesses without modification. Using any other
harness will require custom wiring.
