SHIPPING BASICS:
- Our shipping department is open Monday-Friday 9am-12pm Eastern
Time (ET), unless otherwise notated on our website for times we are shut down
for holidays, vacations or trade shows. Our goal is to ship every order in a
timely fashion, we do our best to ship the same business day (or next business
day if placed over the weekend) if the orders come in before the cut-off
time. If it doesn’t go out the same business
day, it will be the next business day.
- We are located in Zeeland Michigan, USA, with delivery transit
times varying between 1-4 days. Please note that once your shipment has left
our facility, we have no control over the delivery times of the carrier.
- We offer several different shipping methods to meet the
customer’s needs. We have a flat rate shipping that is described in
more detail below, UPS Ground/3-Day Select or 2nd Day air, USPS
Priority. All options are dependent on
the receiving address and the dimensional weight of the order. You, as the customer, can choose your
preferred method via a drop- down box during the checkout process.
- Some international orders can be processed through the website,
and some cannot. If your country is not
listed or you get an error message “currently don’t ship to this location”,
please email us (trail-buddy@hotmail.com)
to see if we can ship to you. Trailbuddy Inc is not responsible for any
taxes or duties that might be due to your shipment. All taxes and
duties will be the responsibility of the customer.
- With all orders that select any shipping method, beyond Flat
Rate, the cart system tends to round all individual items to the nearest pound,
and then adds that up for the dimensional weight. It is not an ideal
situation, and as a result, we have implemented an internal policy, which is as
follows: If there are enough funds to get the shipment to you in a faster time
frame and or a better guaranteed time for delivery, we will select that option
for you. If there is not enough funds to expedite your shipment/or we
have expeditated your shipment and there is still funds remaining, we will
always refund the amount once the package has been delivered. Refunds can take
anywhere up to 3 weeks to appear on your payment method.
- *** All shipments will
have no additional insurance coverage, beyond the carriers’ free insurance (UPS
has a $100 value per shipment, USPS has a $50 value per shipment); there is an
option during the checkout process that the customer can choose to add additional
insurance to their order. Due to the cost of the engines, we have
already put the additional insurance cost into the additional handling fee.
** If there is any damage or the package is lost (and the carrier accepts
the claim), the carrier will only cover $100 of the products. If you have ordered $125.00 worth of items,
you will only get $100 to cover the order, you will need to pay the remainder
of the products.
- Flat rate shipping will be based on the order amount and
will be shipped by either UPS Ground or USPS Priority Mail- this is at Trail
buddy’s full discretion. WE NEED A PHYSICAL ADDRESS to ship via Flat
Rate. If a PO Box is supplied, we will hold order until we can get a
physical street address. There will be a flat rate shipping amount associated
with each level of purchase and heavy or bulky items will have added shipping
amount.
ORDERING INFORMATION:
- Discounts and in-store credits must be processed prior to
submitting the order. We cannot adjust the billed amount after the
order has been submitted. If you have questions, don't remember the
amount, email us and we will get you that information.

- Once a shipping label has been printed on your order, we
cannot modify or add any items to the order, and it will be shipped as placed.
- If placing an order over the phone or through email, you, as
the customer, have agreed to all terms and use of all shipping and return
policies. NO EXCEPTIONS.
