Basic Labeled Wiring Harness with Schematic for 12V
Aftermarket Engines
- This wiring harness is designed for installing a 12V
aftermarket engine, featuring waterproof labels on all plug ends for easy
connection to Trailbuddy electric components.
- Please note that we do not
guarantee compatibility with components from other vendors. A detailed list of all the direct connections are listed underneath the YouTube video.
- The harness
includes a detailed function chart and predominantly features female/male plugs
and bullet-style connectors.
- New Options Available! You can now choose between
purchasing the harness alone or with the optional jumper/sub harness, which was
previously sold separately. If you're using this harness with the 190cc
Zongshen motor, the sub kit option includes a new full-wave regulator that
plugs directly into the main labeled harness. The standard rectifier provided
with these motors will require modification to fit.
- If you initially purchased the harness without the
jumper/sub harness and now wish to obtain it, please visit: Sub Harness for Aftermarket Engines.
- For a cleaner installation, we recommend using the clone
wire harness grommet, which has a larger diameter to accommodate the loom: Clone
Wire Harness Grommet.
- Important Notes: This harness supports all functions,
including electric start. Depending on your specific application, some
connections may not be used. Simply disregard any unused connections; this will
not affect your system's operation. Some electric solenoids may need a
different style of connection; additional connectors are provided to facilitate
this.
- The harness includes a 15-amp fuse.
