- Trail Buddy steering stem bearings kit is designed as a drop-in replacement to upgrade OEM ball-type bearings to taper bearings and a replacement shim washer.
- Tapered roller bearings provide decreased maintenance along with less wear, smoother operation and longer life. Kits come complete with both upper (22.5) and lower taper (24) bearing cups and cones.
- With our tapered bearings, you DO NOT use the lower rubber dust shield used on the older ball bearing setup.
- Now comes with a new replacement shim, for number refence see the below schematic for your model year.. Please remember to remove the old one! **We do not have this step mentioned in the video's**
