Trail Buddy designed steering stop, it is stronger and thicker than the original and will need to be welded on. Recommend welding it on before paint.

Welding on tip: The stop is originally designed for the clone bike but I have been welding them on for years. The clone stop is closer than the old Honda stop. I started years ago with flat stops cutout on a laser but they did not look as nice. I always end up bending them to fit.
When I weld on the stop on, I use a big adjustable wrench and bend it back till it fits using the lower fork clamp as a guide. I bend it a little and then set the fork clamp in the neck with out the bearings, see how it fits and then bend it till I have a small gap between the stop area and the welded part.
